Caribbean Diving Charters
Justly
famous as one of the great cruising areas of the world,
the US Virgin Islands and British Virgin Islands are
also renowned as a top diving and snorkeling destination.
To dive at the Wreck of the Rhone has to be the "must
do" for scuba enthusiast. Used in the filming
of "The Deep", it is regarded by many as
the best wreck dive in the Western Hemisphere.
There
are a myriad of Caribbean diving choices for those
of you wanting to do a little bit of scuba diving
with your sailing, or a little bit of sailing with
your scuba diving, depending on your priorities. All

Bahamas
Diving Charters
The
average diving water temperature is 24 degrees C /
78 degrees F and has with over 60 different sites,
including walls, inland and ocean blue holes, caverns,
wrecks, coral gardens, and even a shark dive. Very
seldom would you get a repeat dive during your stay.
Freeport,
Grand Bahamas Island is an island with lots of dive
sites, a true diver's paradise. The island also has
several wrecks to dive. The best is Theo's wreck.
It is a 230ft. cement freighter sitting in 110ft.
of water right on the edge of the ledge, a 2000ft.
drop off, you should try to do this one. You can also
do some special dives here like diving with dolphins
and shark feeding dives.
Dive the world famous "James Bond Wreck".
This is the actual ship wreck from the James Bond
movies "Thunderball" and "Never Say
Never Again". You will be diving in the very
same waters that Sean Connery swam in during the filming
of these timeless movies. This site is one of many
unique and interesting wrecks in the area that you
can visit.
The
Bahamas Andros Barrier Reef is the third longest and
one of the most unexplored reef systems in the world.
Diving around Great Exuma is a very relaxed and rewarding
experience. The waters are clear and warm, and the
reefs offers a pristine and undisturbed ecosystem
of spectacular corals and fish. At depths at generally
less than 70 feet, divers can maximize time in caverns,
and sand valleys nestled between mounds and large
stands of coral. The fish life is rich and abundant,
and the conditions are easy.

Seychelles
and Tahiti Diving Charters
Seychelles
Diving: Midway between Mahe
and Silhouette Island, Shark Bank is the shallowest
area for hundreds of kilometers and is a natural focus
for marine life especially pelagic fish. Granite gullies
and boulders protect a resident population of reef
fish and invertebrates with schools of yellow Snapper
and Big Eyes being a permanent feature. The site is
open to current and attracts schooling Jack Fish,
Barracuda, Stingrays and Reef sharks. It is also visited
by Whale Sharks in season.
Tahiti Diving: Scuba
diving can be enjoyed on seven of the French Polynesian
islands: Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora, Huahine, Rangiroa,
Manihi, and Raiatea. Many consider French Polynesia
the 'friendly shark capital of the world'. The average
water temperature is 79 degrees in the winter, and
84 degrees in the summer. With these temperatures,
a light wetsuit (1/8 inch) is recommended.
Visibility
is different for many dive sites, but can be as good
as 130 feet.Among the wonderful marine life in French
Polynesia, you can expect to see from small butterfly
fish, to beautiful coral gardens, to larger fish like
napoleans, mantas, barracudas, sting rays, moral eels,
grouper, giant trigger fish, and awesome sharks like
reef sharks (both whitetip and blacktip) and hammerheads.
